Who are the judges?
Each round will be judged by a panel of guest photographers. The judges for each round will be announced at the start of every entry period.
How many images can I enter per round?
Your membership gives you 5 free entries per round.
What is the judging process?
The two chosen judges for each collection will be judging the entries with all exif data removed and entry images renamed to random numbers for complete impartiality. All images selected as worthy of winning by one of the two judges will be given a Silver Flash Masters Award. Those images that are selected by both judges will be given a Gold Flash Masters Award. On the leaderboard, Silver Flash Masters Awards will be worth 10 points and Gold Flash Masters Awards will be worth 20 points.
How will I know if I have won an award?
As soon as the judging process has been completed and winners selected all members will receive an email notifying them of the awards announcement. Winning images will appear in your profile along with the award watermark applied ready for you to download and share with your followers.
I don’t shoot weddings, can I still join?
Absolutely. Whilst the founders and many of the ambassadors are primarily wedding photographers, we welcome entries from other genres of photography so long as flash is involved in the creation of the image.
How will Flash Masters use the winning images?
Flash Masters are passionate about sharing the amazing work that the community produces and ensuring that all winning photographers get the maximum exposure and recognition of their skills. We will do this by displaying all winning images as part of the ‘collection’ for that round on the Flash Masters website. They will also be used to populate the Flash Masters social media pages through posts, stories and reels. The photographer will always be tagged in any online use.
How will the Flash Master of the year be decided?
The member with the highest number of points at the end of each awards season will be crowned Flash Master Photographer of the year. 10 points are issued for every silver award earned and 20 points for every gold award earned. Silver awards are won by getting a vote from one of the 2 judges and gold awards are where both judges have awarded an image.

How can I cancel my membership?
We very much hope that you enjoy being a member of the Flash Masters community and get lots of value from all the content but if you do want to cancel your membership, that is of course no problem at all.
Please just pop us an email at hello@flashmasters.co before your annual renewal date and we will cancel your membership for you and confirm it has been done via email.
Please also let us know the reason you would like to cancel as we always want to know what we can do better for our members.
