Flash Masters Ambassadors Jesse and Moira La Plante join us to critique a collection of images submitted by the Flash Masters community, sharing warm, generous, and genuinely practical feedback to help photographers grow their flash work.
Jesse and Moira La Plante are two of the most generous photographers in the Flash Masters community and this critique stream is proof of that. Based in Colorado and shooting both weddings and astrophotography, they bring warmth, encouragement, and an extraordinary level of practical insight to every image they review.
In this stream they work through a collection of images submitted by Flash Masters members, offering detailed and constructive feedback on composition, light, moment, and posing - always with an eye not just on the image in front of them but on what the photographer can take forward into their next shoot.
Jesse and Moira also share details of their new online mentoring programme and their upcoming one-day workshop in Leeds, UK, timed to coincide with the Nine Dots conference, which is a genuinely exciting opportunity for UK photographers to learn from them in person.
Warm, encouraging, and full of transferable wisdom. 🎉
Jesse and Moira La Plante are Colorado-based photographers who have been shooting weddings since 2008. They first met in the Bahamas on spring break when Jesse (allegedly) offered to buy Moira a drink at an all-inclusive resort. Shortly after that fateful trip, the pair moved to Colorado, and started the wedding photography business they swore they'd never have.
