Benjamin Foote

I picked up my first camera in 2005 when my biggest fan, my mother, learned I was interested in the digital arts. From 2005-2011 I spent the majority of my freetime making videos with my friends and family, sketch comedy that I would rather you not try to find on the interweb as it as goofy as it is amateur. Regardless, those projects lit a fire inside me to create and I eventually pursued my newfound career-option at The University of Michigan in 2011. Go Blue!
From 2011-2015 I studied Screen Arts & Cultures at Michigan. I helped create a production company, “Bear Neck Productions”, worked for the Alumni Association of The University of Michigan as their photo and video content creator, took thousands upon thousands of photos and videos of my friends to their parents’ great pleasure, and began freelancing for small clients, creating photos and videos of their most valued moments.
The plan was always to go to LA and pursue a film career, but after doing some freelance work during my time at my Alma Mater I realized that my zeal was geared towards working with individuals to make their dreams become a visual reality. I unpacked my proverbial “Plan A” bag and settled in Ann Arbor, MI, establishing my LLC in 2015. However, as luck would have it, I fell in love with the most beautiful woman in the world who was pursuing her PhD at Northwestern. So, after a year of creating a Michigan-based clientele I uprooted my business, married that wonderful girl, and moved to Chicago where I know live and work!
